Tech-Savvy Students Encouraged to Apply for Y Combinator’s 2025 Summer Fellows Grants

Y Combinator is inviting college students worldwide to apply for their 2025 Summer Fellows Grants. Selected students will receive $20,000 in cash and $90,000 in cloud computing credits to develop innovative technical projects over the summer. The application deadline is March 28, 2025.

Y Combinator, a renowned startup accelerator, is calling on college students with strong technical skills to apply for their 2025 Summer Fellows Grants. This initiative aims to empower students to explore their intellectual curiosity by building innovative technical projects during the summer break, rather than engaging in routine internships.

Grant Details:

  • Financial Support: Each selected fellow will receive $20,000 in cash to support their project development.
  • Cloud Resources: In addition to the cash grant, fellows will be awarded $90,000 in compute credits from leading cloud service providers, including Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google GCP.
  • Exclusive Events: Fellows will be invited to attend Y Combinator’s AI Startup School on June 16–17, 2025, and participate in special events designed to enhance their project outcomes.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Academic Background: Applicants should be undergraduate students majoring in computer science or engineering.
  • Technical Proficiency: Students from other disciplines may apply if they demonstrate exceptional technical abilities, such as notable open-source contributions.
