Say Claims Against Dr Dennis Otuaro Are Baseless and Politically Motivated
A coalition of Niger Delta youths has dismissed allegations of nepotism and financial misconduct against Dr Dennis Otuaro, the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP). They insist that the accusations are false and meant to undermine his efforts in promoting peace and development in the region.
A group of Niger Delta youths has come forward to reject recent allegations of nepotism and mismanagement against Dr Dennis Otuaro, the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP). The youths described the accusations as politically motivated and an attempt to discredit his leadership.
Speaking in Port Harcourt, the leader of the coalition, Tarry Foray Fayeofori, stated that all contracts awarded by the PAP followed due process and complied with federal procurement laws. He said that those behind the allegations are only trying to create confusion and slow down the progress made under Dr Otuaro’s leadership.
According to Fayeofori, Dr Otuaro has introduced several reforms to empower ex-agitators, including skill acquisition programmes, scholarships, and business support schemes. He stressed that these initiatives are helping to create economic opportunities for young people in the Niger Delta.
The youths urged the public to ignore misleading reports and continue supporting the current PAP leadership, which they believe is committed to peace, stability, and economic growth in the region.
